O RPG da Square Enix Trials of Mana was released today (14) on Android and iOS. The game arrived at the price of R$ 134,90 and “weighs” approx. 6.1 GB. Trials of mana is an offline game.
Trias comes to brighten up even more the category of OFFLINE RPGs for mobile phones. The game may require an internet connection at some point to validate the license, but it's still an RPG with no in-app purchases and no ads.
The mobile version has menus adapted for touch screens, modes to help with repetitive combats such as auto-target, auto-camera and auto-battle, various modes to change the graphics, cloud saving and an exclusive mobile option that allows you to speed up XP gain up to level 17.
About the game, Trials of Mana for mobile is a perfect port of the game released for consoles and PC in 2020. The 3D version is a remake of Seiken Densetsu 3, which had never been released in the west.
The story takes place in a fictional world where Mana represents an ethereal but finite force. Trials starts just when mana starts to disappear and people want to release the Benevodons to try to gain more mana. However, this can have a side effect for the game world.
Trials of Mana isn't exactly a direct sequel to Secret of Mana. The games in the series do not take place in the same world. Just like Final Fantasy, the worlds are in alternate versions and that keep similarities so that players can easily locate themselves.
