As we have already made lists of cheap smartphones and another with the more potent, it's time to make a list of cell phones with best cost-benefit and focusing on games. The following top is full of gadgets that will make your hard-earned money count.
Notice: Obviously the list leaves out intermediate and high-end cell phones with values above 1.000 reais. However, as you will see below, some imported models may have the performance of high-end smartphones such as Galaxy S7, LG G6 and Moto Z.

10 – Samsung Galaxy J5 Metal
We started our top value for money at the XNUMXth position. O Samsung Galaxy J5 It's no monster in terms of performance. In fact, Samsung's basics are more in line with older devices as they have versions that date back to 2015.
When buying a smartphone, you have to be careful not to take the old version by mistake. The Metal version is the latest with Android 6.0 out of the box and 2GB of RAM.
But getting the old version for something around 600 reais is not the worst deal in the world. It corresponds well to the expectations of those looking for a smartphone for everyday use (as long as it is used sparingly). The Galaxy J5 runs well old games and recent releases (with the graphics at a minimum).
Its configuration of both the 2015 and 2016 versions is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 Cortex-A53 with just 1.2 GHZ and Adreno 306. The main difference is the amount of RAM: 1.5GB for the old one and 2GB for the 2016 one.
Like any entry-level smartphone from Samsung, the J5 needs to be used with caution. No more installing Facebook, Snapchat and other crap for “social interaction”, that's asking to slow down your cell phone. In short, you need to know how to use applications like Greenify to be able to perform well with this cell phone. Because of this, the J5 only reaches our tenth position.
Positives
– 3.100 mAh battery
– Amoled fabric
– Warranty and technical assistance in Spain
Negative points
– Performance may be lacking if you install too many apps
Configuration:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core 1.2GHz 64bit processor
- Adreno GPU 306
- 5.2 Amoled screen (1280 x 720 pixels) like 282 ppi
- 13 MP main camera and 5 MP front camera

9 – LG K10 2017
O LG K10 It wasn't a good buy in 2016, but the new version, dubbed by the media only as K10 Novo, fixed the main flaw of the old K10, having only 1GB of RAM.
The new version has 2 GB of RAM, which nowadays is the basics for having a mobile phone for games. The rest of the LG K10 Novo's configuration also brought improvements. The processor is a MediaTek MT6750 with 8 cores (Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 + Quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53). With that, the device became attractive again for those looking for a device with good cost-benefit.
Another improvement is that the K10 now comes with 32GB of internal space and supports MicroSD cards up to 64GB. With these specifications, the K10 became a good gaming device, being compatible with recent heavy games. The K10 comes with Android 7.0 Nougat.
The K10's screen is 5.3 inches with a resolution of just 1280 x 720 pixels. Although this resolution helps the processor not to stutter in heavy games, it throws the pixel density down there, with only 277 PPi.
The LG K10 doesn't come equipped with a biometric sensor to unlock via digital (only the pro version has that), but it has nifty features like two taps to turn on the screen. In summary, the LG K10 is a mix of joy and small disappointments, the main one being the current price.
Be careful not to take the old version by mistake. The new version of the LG K10 comes standard with Android 7.0 Nougat, while the old one with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

8- LG X Power
O LG X Power it beats both the J5 and K10 in a very simple question: Battery. It comes with a battery with nothing less than 4.000 mAh. It would be something normal for a top of the line, but not for a device with basic specs.
The LG X Power has a processor Quad Core Mediatek MT6735 MP2 de 1.3 GHZ. The amount of RAM memory is basic, just 2 GB of RAM. The internal space is also modest, just 16GB, but you can expand it with MicroSD cards up to 64GB.
The price range of the LG X Power is very attractive, something around R$ 600 reais. For those looking for a “daily driver” that won't let you down due to lack of battery, the X Power is an excellent cost-benefit option.
But you have to be careful with some device problems. For example, the fact that he keeps turning on the screen to receive notifications. Check which apps are the most annoying with notifications and disable them, leaving only the essential ones.
Positives
- Drums

7 – Motorola Moto G5
O Motorola G5 arrived to correct the errors of the previous device, the Moto G4, mainly in terms of construction. The G5 has a better finish and a home button that makes sense and doesn't just serve as a digital sensor.
The Moto G5 comes with a base processor, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core 1.4 GHz, 2 GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Its screen is FullHD (1920 x 1080p) of 5 inches, with a good pixel density.
The above configuration ensures that the Motorola Moto G5 runs a good amount of old heavy games and recent games (with medium configuration). But don't expect to have the same performance as true mid-range (with Snapdragon 600x) or high-end devices.
In terms of battery, the Moto G5 is average. It has a 2.800mAh battery and fast charging support. Unfortunately, the charger that comes with the phone is not turbocharged.
Despite being well built and with a great proposal, at the time of publishing this post, the Moto G5 was a launch. Therefore, its value for almost R$ 900 reais made it only in the ninth position of our top value for money.
Positives
– Well built
– pure Android
– Good battery performance
– Basic model comes with 32GB of space
Negative points

6 – Ulefone Metal
We arrived at the part of our top Value for Money where things start to get very interesting.
Three things put the Ulefone Metal in sixth position: price, price and price. A smartphone with 3GB of RAM for only R$ 380 reais is something that really draws attention.
Despite the remaining configuration being modest, the Ulefone Metal is one of the best in terms of value for money. The processor is a MTK6753 Octa Core 1.3GHz. The interior space is also modest and the cameras aren't a big deal.
The Ulefone Metal is really modest in specs, but the construction of the device is very beautiful. on the website of Gearbest, it is possible to buy covers and glass film, which will guarantee the beauty of your new cell phone for a long time.
Despite passing off the radar of those looking for a smartphone, the Ulefone Metal's 3GB of RAM draws the attention of those who like games. For despite being modest in the rest, the smartphone can run games that are incompatible with more expensive devices sold in Spain.

5 – OUKITEL K6000 Plus
If you thought we talked a lot about the LG X Power battery, know that it doesn't even come close to the Godzilla of batteries that is the K6000 Plus. This smartphone has a battery with nothing less than 6080 mAh!!!
O X10 processor is known in the technical circles to consume a lot of battery, but the version that goes in the K6000 Plus has been modified to save battery. The end result is a device that comfortably lasts more than a day away from the power outlet, even if you are a mobile game addict, like us. In moderate use, it can wait two days without needing to recharge.
The manufacturer OUKITEL makes it very clear that the device is focused on heavy games, but in reality the K6000 Plus should be used sparingly. Your processor is a Octa-core with only 1.5 GHz, so don't be alarmed if you notice that one or another game appears as incompatible on Google Play.
It is worth remembering that the K6000 Plus is the best version of the K6000. Not to be confused with the K6000 pro version, which although it is very good, is not the latest edition of this smartphone. The Pro version has only 3 GB of RAM.
For those who want a second opinion, there is also the Ulefone Power 2, which is a device with almost identical hardware to the OUKITEL K6000 Plus.
Positives
– The mother of all batteries!
- 4 GB of RAM
Negative points
– Despite being sold as powerful, it is necessary to be aware that the K6000 Plus processor is intermediate

4 – XiaoMi Redmi Note 3
For those who want security, support and assistance for a device purchased in China, the tip is the XiaoMi Redmi Note 3, one of the best options in terms of value for money. The smartphone is not recent, but it has good construction and is well known. Whatever happens, it will be easy to find support for this phone.
Redmi Note 3 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 with processor 1.8GHz hexa-core and 3GB RAM. The internal space is only 16GB, but you can expand it up to 128GB with MicroSD cards.
In terms of camera, the device is very good, with 16 MP cameras at the back and another 5 MP at the front. For its price range, the Redmi Note 3 delivers.
Because it is very popular, the Redmi Note 3 has good game compatibility, both for new and old games. Its 4.000mAh battery capacity is above the average of other intermediaries and guarantees a long game play. Supporting up to 4 hours of intense gameplay. In moderate use, the battery can easily last more than a day.

3 – Leeco Le 2
O Leeco Le 2 (aka Le S3) is a (real) mid-range smartphone with Snapdragon Snapdragon 652 Octa Core 2.3GHz. In other words, above the average of the other smartphones mentioned so far. It has amazing value for money.
With 3GB of RAM, Leeco Le 2 easily runs the vast majority of heavy games on Google Play. And by “heavy” I mean new and old games.
It is a very beautiful device, with a top of the line finish. The Leeco Le 2 features USB Type-C with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The smartphone has a 16 MP camera with dual flash and biometric sensor.
The device's screen is a show on its own (for a R$500 smartphone). It is a 5.5-inch display that, despite the black edges, when turned off, gives the impression that the cell phone has no edges.
The only downside is the lack of space for the memory card. So when buying a device from Leeco, be aware of the internal space that is only 32 GB in the Le 2.
Video with gameplay from Crazy for Smartphones Channel, rolling GTA San Andreas com or graphic not maximum.

2 – Xiaomi Mi5
we already talked about Xiaomi Mi5 on several occasions. With an intermediate price, the Mi5 is an “almost top of the line” (Remember that you have the Xiaomi Mi5s Plus with Snap 821 ok?). But the old Mi5 is not far behind the Mi5s.
The Mi5 version has a processor Snapdragon 820 with 3GB of RAM, enough to run any game on Google Play with max graphics (and handily). Any game that doesn't run on it has been poorly optimized.. ok? In terms of processing power, the Mi5 clashes with tops of the line such as Galaxy S7. In other words, it is one of the best smartphones in terms of value for money.
With the Mi5, you'll achieve some absurd gamistic feats like running Doom 3 on your cell phone and even emulating Nintendo Wii games (some of them work perfectly).
The Xiaomi Mi5 has a 5.15-inch FullHD 1920 x 1080 pixel display with a density of 448 ppi. The amount of internal space is good with 64GB and MicroSD card support up to 128GB.
Xiaomi Mi5 has a great quality camera and premium finish. The ROM of the device is in Spanish and very well optimized.
Positives
– Top of the line processor
– Good support and trouble-free ROM
- 3 GB of RAM
Negative points
- There is not
Configuration:
- Processador Snapdragon 820 64 bits Quad-Core 2.15 GHz

1 – Lenovo ZUK Z2
O ZUK Z2 it is the materialization of how the idea of buying an imported cell phone for games is an excellent idea. O Cost-Benefit Champion in 2017. Everything that has been said about the Mi5 applies to the ZUK Z2, that is, it runs everything with a margin of slack to shoot a recording application.
But the Z2 has a positive point over the Mi5, the ZUK can be found at a more affordable price. In short, we have a configuration similar to the Xiaomi Mi5. Snapdragon 820 with 4 GB of RAM. The camera however, lags behind Xiaomi.
Another point to note here. Turn and move, the ZUK Z2 will need an unofficial update, as the Spanish ROM has some bugs. Our tip is that you use the smartphone with the original ROM in English and change the language of the games via Google Play.
Despite this small downside, the ZUK Z2 makes it to the top of our list of the best value for money phones. The victory was given thanks to the performance of the device in games. Despite lacking in some aspects, the cell phone is one of the cheapest and the one that offers the best support for heavy games.
Positives
– Top of the line processor
- 4 GB of RAM
Negative points
– Poorly translated and modified ROMs may have some bugs
Configuration:
- Processador Snapdragon 820 64 bits Quad-Core 2.15 GHz
