The Lords of the Rings Living Card Game will be released for Android and iOS in 2018. Currently the game is available for PC (Steam Early Access) and in the real world, as it exists as a card game. The title is a cardgame with many similarities to Hearthstone.
However, even though the game is reminiscent of Hearthstone, it is important to note that “Living Card Game” is not the same as a “Collectible Card Game”. The Lord of the Rings is much more honest in its proposal. The player does not buy random packs. Buy the expansions that come with all the cards.
Another differential of Lord of the Rings is the greater focus on singleplayer campaigns. Of course, the game also has a versus mode, but the focus will be campaigns that can be played alone or with a friend in co-op mode.
