The Gardens Between is a captivating adventure and puzzle game in which we follow the story of two best friends. The game was released for Android and costs R$ 18,90. Needless to say, this is a premium and offline game, right?
First released for consoles like Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, The Gardens Between also arrived on iOS in 2019. The Android version was already in testing months ago.
The game revolves around teenagers Arina and Fendt, a girl and boy who are neighbors and have become best friends. On a rainy night, they decide to escape and hide in a tree house. Built on a small square, this is no ordinary house. They see a sphere of light form before them and suddenly they are in an ocean of dreams where islands represent small experiences.
These islands work like puzzles that they will have to solve one by one if they want to return home together. As they progress, the atmosphere becomes more and more gloomy. Will they be able to escape together? Then just playing to find out.
In terms of gameplay, the game is quite interesting as well. In the game, but things only move when you interact with it. There will be a kind of “video cassette” where you can go forward and backward as you play, but it doesn't always have the benefits you expect. Another differential is the fact that you don't exactly control the characters, but you interact with the world so that they can progress on their journey.
