Trials of Mana

We start our list of the best games of July with an excellent RPG, Trials of Mana. An offline game for no one to fault. That's 6GB of data in a title that is identical to the console versions.

Remake of a classic that was imprisoned in Japan, Seiken Densetsu 3, or Trials of Mana, had never been released in the West. A game with a vast world to explore and a great story to experience.

XCOM 2: Collection

Another console-to-mobile conversion, XCOM 2: Collection has finally arrived on Android, after first being released on iOS.

In this strategy game, aliens have already taken over Earth, but not completely. You are part of the last resistance. The game follows the same proposal as the first game that is also available for mobile phones.

A title focused on singleplayer missions and with an excellent story.

Sky gamblers

Launched in the last week of July, Sky Gamblers Infinite Jets is a plane game that cannot be missed in the collection of fighter fighter fans.

The game had already been released on iOS in 2017, and finally arrived on Android. There are 15 stages to finish with the right to one in Rio de Janeiro. After finishing the game, you can still test your skills in online versus mode.

Released in record time in the west, NieR Re[in]carnation is an online RPG, but with a single player focus.

Inspired by the NieR series, the game will revisit some memories of classic characters from the franchise. In addition, players will also be able to check out a crossover with NieR Automata.

NieR Re[in]carnation has turn-based combat and gacha elements.

Final Fantasy I, II e III Pixel Remaster

Made for those who are a fan of Final Fantasy, the Pixel Remaster series brings "new old" versions of classic games from the franchise.

Did not understand? It works like this, Square Enix is restyled games from the original series, with minor gameplay improvements, but keeping the classic look of Final Fantasy I, II and III. These "de-remasters" turned out pretty good (from a nostalgia point of view).

For the first time in history, all three games are OFFICIALLY translated into Spanish. The only problem is the price. As always, Square Enix games are quite expensive.

The Witcher: Monster Slayer

“Pokémon GO” where you kill monsters instead of taking care of them, was released on Android and iOS in July. The Witcher: Monster Slayer follows the same pattern as Niantic's localization and augmented reality game.

But no being nice to creatures. In The Witcher Monster Slayer, as the name implies, you are a monster hunter.

Asphalt Nitro 2

The big surprise of the month of July was the release of Asphalt Nitro 2. The new Gameloft game arrived as an exclusive for Android.

The racing game is only sold on the company's official website. But the price and the hassle of downloading (the store only appears via 4G or 5G), make up for it, as the game is completely offline.

Asphalt Nitro 2 is a mix between the previous game and Asphalt 9 Legends. It's only 50 megabytes of data to download.

Moonlight Sculptor

Based on a successful web manga, Moonlight Sculptor arrived by surprise in Spain in mid-July.

Moonlight Sculptor is a different MMORPG, as it has modes for players to enjoy the game offline. In addition, this game has everything a fan of the genre expects: cute characters, mounts and lightness to run on any cell phone.

Punishing: Gray Raven

A serious contender for Honkai Impact 3rd. Punishing: Gray Raven is a hack'n slash with anime girls and frantic combat.

With short stages and fast gameplay, the game will captivate those who enjoy assembling characters and combos. The game has a cool story too, set in a post-apocalyptic future where cybernetic creatures have taken over the Earth.

Against Returns

Finally, a classic that we've talked about a lot here on the site, was released on Google Play in Spain.

Contra Returns is a “run and gun” with casual gameplay and short levels. The great thing about the game is nostalgia. There are many references to the classic stages of Contra games for Nintendo 8bits, Super Nintendo and Mega Drive.

But if you're not from the time, no problem. The game is full of new elements, new characters and stages as well. There is also a versus player versus player mode.

Android Games in Beta July 2021

We separate the games into beta testing or Soft Launch for one simple reason. They didn't "go out" as you usually see around. They are only available in some countries. As they are not global releases yet, we keep them separate, ok?
