Playdigius has announced and has already pre-registered the mobile version of Streets of Rage 4. The fantastic “Street Fight” game for PC and consoles will be released for mobile on the 24th of May.

Streets of Rage 4 is authored by Lizardcube and Dotemu and it was to be expected that it would arrive on mobile at some point. For those who don't know, the game is from the same producers as the remake of Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, game released on mobile in 2019. The game will be published on mobile phones by Playdigius.

Just like Dragon's Trap, Street of Rage 4 for Android and iOS will arrive on day “zero” already with support for Bluetooth controllers. But those who don't have a controller can play with the buttons on the screen. Lizardcube is known for making a good adaptation of the commands for touch screens.

Some sites are saying that the game will be free, but I honestly very much doubt that this is real. The iOS version of Street of Rage 4 is priced at R$44,90.

Street of Rage 4 Mobile will be offline and may contain in-app purchases to unlock expansions. On the Google Play page, there is information that it is possible to unlock up to 13 new fighters, something that is only possible with the Mr. X Nightmare.

    About Street of Rage 4

After countless rumors and fan-made games, the legendary beat'em up franchise has officially returned with a new game in 2020.

Street of Rage 4 brings Axl, Blaze and other classic characters in older versions. They still fight crime and they still kick ass. With them, new characters Cherry Hynter and Floyd Iraia will face a new crime syndicate (which ironically is led by Mr.X's sons, Mr. Y and Ms. Y).

Developed by the talented studio Lizardcube in partnership with Dotemu a Guard Crush, Street of Rage 4 is one of the most stylish beat'em ups of recent times, both visually and in gameplay.

The game follows the “easy to play, hard to master” pattern with challenges that have fighting game fans excited. The game is challenging for those looking for this type of experience, but there is also an easy mode for those who just want to finish the story and relax by taking blows at the bandit.
