Steins;Gate Mobile for Android gets an English translation six years after iOS

Steins; Gate, a successful visual novel in Japan, finally won english version on android. However, the translation arrived with some delay. The game is paid, but you can play the intro for free.

The strangest thing about it all is that the game had already been translated to iOS… in 2016.

The update that arrived on Android this week is massive and brings a lot of content beyond translation.

There is not much information about what was done to fix the game, just updated.

Steins;Gate Mobile is a "miniature" version of the game that came out for PS3 and Xbox 360. Based on a visual novel and anime, the story is about a group of friends who discovered how to customize microwaves (that's right) on a device to send messages to the past. They are persecuted by an organization called SERN that is doing the same kind of experiment. The story takes place in present-day Japan, more precisely in the famous Akihabara neighborhood.

Steins;Gate is one of the best visual novels to play on mobile, highly recommended for those who enjoy the genre and enjoy Japanese animations. The game is free to download and test, but after a certain point you have to pay (and expensive) to continue, around R$134 reais.
