The 2D fighting game Skullgirls will be released for Android e iOS. Confirmed for 2016, the game will have the same look and gameplay as the console and PC version, but will obviously have some adaptations in the controls. What draws attention in the ad is the producer's commitment to maintaining fidelity to the original title. The mobile version will not be a mere port and will bring a new story.

Released in 2012 for PC and consoles such as Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U, Skullgirls is a fighting game that quickly captivated the gaming community. Forget the appealing tone of the characters' clothes and focus on the frantic gameplay with a high possibility of creating and combining combos.
“The mobile version of Skullgirls is designed for storytelling to complement the console version. In the format of "Seasons", with the first part being a prequel to the console version. The mobile game includes a collection with dozens of characters and special moves to collect and upgrade – from Parasite Weave Filia to Epic Sax Big Band.
Additionally, Skullgirls will have RPG progression, customization, combo execution, team/deck building mechanics, and a fighting feature that allows players to take on a more turn-based, tactical role in Assist combat.”
Hmm, the “turns-based” part scared me a little, is it not going to be a fighting game? What do you think, leave your comment?
