ShellFire is yet another Android game with similarities to Overwatch. Still in testing, the game is only available in some countries. Shellfire had previously been released under the name Hero Mission, but it was removed from Google Play a few months ago.

ShellFire is a 5v5 MOBA style FPS game, the same style as Overwatch, with the characters in the "Heroes" pattern, where each one has unique weapons and abilities.

There are many modes to choose from, including Quick Match, Rank Mode, Zombie War, Island War and so on. This is not a problem. The problem is that this type of game is not getting the success it should on Mobile.

I always attribute this type of play to Overwatch. The idea is to easily remember these games when searching, to know who lived and who “died” after a few months.

– “Overwatch-style” games tend not to do well on mobile

Even big companies like Gameloft aren't doing very well in this genre. Gameloft has been suffering a lot with Modern Combat Versus.

The former King Corps changed its name and publisher. The game became Heroes Unleashed and has a 3.6/5 rating on Google Play. Other smaller games in the genre haven't paid much attention to player feedback and have similar ratings.
