Madfinger games has released a new Shadowgin Legends update in celebration of the “Velvet Revolution”, a demonstration set that took place in 1989 in Czechoslovakia. The producer and most of the employees are from the Czech Republic.
Much of the new content is linked to the Czech and Slovak Games Week global event on the occasion of the national holiday on November 17, which is celebrated by all the people of the Czech and Slovak Republics to celebrate the events of 1939 and 1989.
The event features 260 games from 116 development studios across 10 different digital distribution platforms from November 15-22, 2021.
The Journey of Struggle for Freedom and Democracy is mainly linked to the year 89 and the so-called Velvet Revolution, which marked the peaceful transfer of power and the advent of democracy.
With the new update, Shadowgun Legends players will learn about Czechoslovakia's history through unique quests while collecting tokens in the form of Czech coins, which can be exchanged for great rewards.
In addition to special event discounts, players can expect 2 new Czech-themed weapons “The Ancestor” and “Velvet Revolution”, Hub decorations featuring Czech flags and the Astronomical Clock of Brno, new weapons in Dungeons and Arenas, and a bundle of exclusive Techno Viking cosmetics.
