NetEase launched the Rules of Survival game in Spain. The game is a version of Terminator 2 focused on Battle Royale mode. This western version of the game removes all the trademark elements of the Terminator 2 franchise. The game is now available on Android and iOS, with servers closer to Spain and ping down there.

In other words, the game has the same gameplay as the original version, but without the characters from the movie and without the campaign mode, what's left is just the Playerunknown's Battlegrounds-style mode. This reinforces NetEase's commitment to becoming a reference in this new mobile genre.
The game's engine is very light, and Rules of Survival runs well even on phones with only 1GB of RAM. The differences from Survivor Royale are in the greater amount of players on the same map (up to 120) and the possibility of driving different vehicles.
Just like Survivor Royale, Rules of Survival allows cooperative mode between 4 players, the famous squad mode. The game already has microphone support so you don't have to run two apps at the same time.

Any doubts that NetEase wants to be a reference in the Battle Royale genre on mobile? In just one week the producer launched two games of the genre in the west. Both are still in beta, but pretty much ready. The lightweight engines and vast environment provide an experience very close to PUBG. Competitors beware, because if the trend of porting Chinese games partially into English catches, many people will be unemployed.
