According to information, this set of rules for championships was sent only to representatives of Free Fire organizations and teams.

Despite not directly mentioning the emulator, this set of rules has a very specific part that says: “each team participating in the Championship must have, at all times, at least 2 mobile players working in the current match”.

By specifically citing mobile players, the ruleset makes it very clear that the new guidelines also pertain to the emulator scenario.

That was all it took for the subject to take over social media. So much so that several Free Fire fans raised the hashtag “garena disgraced” on Twitter.

Many famous Free Fire players took a stand against the supposed set of rules.

It was not enough the cr7, grenades and other nonsense att that made free fire lose many players. I haven't played ranked in a while because of that. Now imagine who is not competitive? How many people got discouraged… Now the charts that are more hyped, that I like to play and watch

The biggest problem with all this is that a hell of an investment was made on top of structure and contracts with full emulator lines in the scenario. The problem is not the mobiles.

One of the responses to Zaraki's comment caught my attention: “Mobile is always the problem”.

But wait there? Free Fire is a mobile game folks!

Garena is the only one to blame for not having a Free Fire version for PC

We have already commented in other articles since 2019 that it is a complete shame that Free Fire still does not have a client for Windows PCs.

This controversy is not new. In 2020, Garena had several problems with Regedit and Emulators. The subject came up again after the huge success of “La Copa Free Fre”, an event organized by influencer Nobru and 3C Gaming.

There is no excuse! It's just shameful that a BILLIONAIRE game like Free Fire doesn't have a computer version.

Even less famous NetEase games like Cyber Hunter and Ride Out Heroes have a desktop version.

Free Fire should have at least partnered with an emulator company to have an “official emulator”. Not even that, Garena set out to do.

Even the identification to know if a player is playing Free Fire on the emulator or on the cell phone, Garena is still in its infancy.

The moral of the story is simple.

Gamers, whether PC or Mobile, it's not the company's fault for not being able to separate those who play on the emulator from those who play on the cell phone. Several other Battle Royale companies already do it with such excellence that it's easy to play only with those who have a cell phone or with those who are on the PC.

It's past time for Garena to do the same.
