Nier Reincarnation will launch its first closed beta test for Android e iOS this month. The game, for now, will be restricted to Japanese cell phones. The beta test takes place only in Japan between the 29th of July and the 5th of August.
CBT registrations are being accepted from now until July 26th, but there are a very limited number of places available. There are only 10 spots for iOS and 10 spots for Android. As reported by the Gematsu website, if more than 20 players sign up, the participants will be decided by lottery.
NieR Reincarnation was first revealed in April of this year. A cryptic trailer was released and little about the game has been revealed since. It is unknown if the game will be premium or more of a “gacha” (as if we didn't already have countless).
What is known is that the story of Reincarnation revolves around a young girl and a creature called Mama. You will venture across the city to regain what you lost and atone for past sins. Series creator Yoko Taro is on board with the game's creative director.
