Square-Enix takes its mobile games very seriously. A proof of this is shown in the next update of Mobius Final Fantasy (Android, iOS and PC). One of Final Fantasy X's biggest mysteries will be revealed in the mobile game. Nothing less than the story of Tidus between FF X and FF X-2 (which is a prequel, in this case).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xvqpa8EyUe4And this is not an event to promote the mobile game, as the producers of Final Fantasy X and Mobius Final Fantasy are the same, Motomu Toriyama and Yoshinori Kitase. Kitase even declared that he intends to “break the perception that mobile is for casual”.
Mobius Final Fantasy is now available for Android, iOS e PC. The game is free to play but has microtransactions.
