A new Men in Black movie is coming, and why not a game based on it? Well, if you were expecting it, the GAMELOFT decided to fulfill its request, the French developer announced that a game based on the film is in development and should receive versions for iOS (iPhone, iPod Touch e iPad), Android (Smartphones and Tablets) and also for cell phones with Java.
The game is being developed with the support of SONY Pictures. "We are developing something very faithful to the MIB universe, with several weapons and characters extremely faithful to what you see in the movies, we can say that players will have hours of fun" - said Mark Caplan, vice president of SONY Pictures. The GAMELOFT has already declared that the game will be Free-to-Play (Freemium, which may displease a lot of people) but has not clarified the matter very well.
In the movie MIB 3, Agent J (Will Smith) will have to travel back in time, and he will return to the year 1969, where he will try to stop the biker Yaz (Jermaine Clement) from destroying the world in the future. In the past, he will have the help of young K (played by Tommy Lee Jones in the present and Josh Brolin in the past). The comedy will be on account of the personalities of the 60s who will prove to be aliens are Yoko Ono, Fidel Castro, Jimi Hendrix and even Andy Warhol. The film is scheduled to premiere on May 25 in Spain., with 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D views. The game is supposed to be released a few days before the movie opens.
