Spanish developer AQUIRIS has released Horizon Chase 2 to iOS e Mac OS through the game service Apple Arcade. the game is exclusive to Apple platforms until next year, when it will be released for consoles and PC. And Android? No Android version, unfortunately.
Horizon Chase 2 is a racing game, and it is also the sequel to the worldwide acclaimed Horizon Chase.
With a renewed look, new tracks, more calibrated difficulty and multiplayer mode (which is new on mobile), Horizon Chase 2 revitalizes the arcade racing formula.

Unlike other sequels we've seen this year, Horizon Chase doesn't have that "same game 2" feel.
Horizon Chase 2 has 55 tracks in 5 countries and 10 cars. It seems little, but obviously, the game will receive new content soon.
The partnership with legendary songwriter Barry Leitch continues. Don't know the guy? He is just the composer of music for classic games like Top Gear and Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge.
See some comments from the game's producers.
“Our main challenge was to make a sequel without losing its original essence: the arcade racing spirit, unique artistic look and signature gameplay that made it a huge success. It's simple, got it, it's already playing. Played, already having fun. Especially on Apple Arcade.” – Nando Guimaraes (General Manager)
“Designing our cars was one of the most important parts of our production. Many things inspired us in this process, such as automotive design or the country the car represents. We also had amazing designers who did a great job helping us develop these cars that are actually the main characters in Horizon Chase 2.” – Cristina Arikawa (Art Producer)
AQUIRIS also released a video of the game's “Making of”, check it out here.

And the Android version?
We contacted the AQUIRIS studio and it was confirmed that the game will NOT have an Android version… at least, not anytime soon.
As with other titles that came out first on Apple Arcade, there is no forecast for an Android version.
So does that mean that Horizon Chase 2 will never be released for Android?
In the short term, the possibility of the game going to the “little green robot” is zero.
Perhaps, one day, when the mobile exclusivity contract ends, Horizon Chase 2 will be released on Google's system.
For those who don't know, games that are released in partnership with Apple via Apple Arcade, have a temporary exclusivity contract. Apparently, in this type of contract, the game can be released later for other platforms, but NOT on Android.
It remains to be seen how long the mobile exclusivity will be on iOS. I guess she must be at least 4 years old, which is a lot.
In case you don't remember, games like Oceanhorn 2 and Spidersaurs were released alongside Apple Arcade in 2019. It's been 3 years and no clues of an Android version of them.
