The game displays a hexagonal map for the player to explore and looks like a cute version of Civilization.

Hexonia surprises by coming out of the box of “Clash of Clans clones”. It is a strategy game of the “Hex games” genre, games where the terrain is divided into hexagons.
It is surprising that the game is essentially offline. An online multiplayer mode would even be common, but the game doesn't have it. When the internet is present, the game displays ads that guarantee advantages in the game.
