If you are a person who is minimally connected to the world of mobile games, you certainly not only know but have already played Fruit Ninja e jetpack Joyride. They have in common the fact that they are two of the most fun and extensively copied games ever made for mobile and tablet. They also share the fact that they were developed by the Halfbrick studio that this year will attack again with Colossatron: Massive World Threat.
The studio has been releasing trailers that are just teasers and don't give many details, but from what has been shown so far, the game will bring references from different genres. Starting with the classic Snake, as you control a kind of metallic snake. The player will need to combine blocks called powernodes of the same color to create weapons, the more blocks are combined, the more firepower the monster will have. And what is it used for? To destroy the world! Colossatron also deals with tower defense elements, but on the contrary, the objective will be to cause as much destruction as possible and destroy the army's defenses. The greater the amount of damage caused by the damage, the better.
The last game released by Halfbrick, Fish Out of Water, was criticized for being too superficial and casual, apparently with Colossatron they learned a lesson and incorporated more interesting elements. If you liked Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride (and who didn't?), you need to keep an eye on this game!
Colossatron: Massive World Threat will be released on the 19th for both iOS and Android, however, the price is still unknown. Check out one of the most revealing trailers in the video below:
