Google introduced the new line of smartphone and tablet Nexus. Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player and the new Android were introduced today. The new versions of the official Android tablet and smartphone have drastic changes in the look. Announced a day before the event that Apple plans to announce new devices in the line of tablets and TVs, Google's announcement is practically a "combo breaker" in any news that Apple will present tomorrow.
– Nexus 6 – a lady hammered in competition
What is Nexus 6? Think of it like the Motorola X on steroids. That's right, Google called Motorola (after selling it to Lenovo) to produce the new version of the smartphone with the best version of Android anyone could want, the PURE version.
The Nexus 6 is a monster with 5.96 inches (six practically) and a design very similar to the Motorola Moto X 2014. The screen has QHD resolution (higher than FullHD) with 1440 x 2560 pixels (pixel density of ridiculous 493 ppi. A lot of people you can say that a device of this size is unnecessary, but the Nexus 6 has the same width as the iPhone 6 Plus, which has a screen of “only” 5.5 inches, a device that, when it came out, everyone cheered.

As we presented in the previous article about the fall of tablets, it seems that the new wave is really the phablets, and apparently this type of device will be the new “top of the line”, given that the demand for them only grows.
A device of this scale clearly has a focus on content consumption. And that will be the strength of the Moto..ops Nexus 6. With front speakers, screen with incredible resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor – Quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 -, Adreno 420 GPU and 3GB of RAM, don't tell me that this is a device for photos or selfie. This consumer dream comes in two versions, one with 32GB and 64GB.
– Nexus 9 com Tegra K1
In the line of tablets, Google presented the successor of both Nexus 7 and Nexus 10, the Nexus 9. The device with an 8.9-inch screen comes with a proposal to be the intermediary between the two devices. For us gamers, the highlight is Nvidia's 64bit Tegra K1 processor, capable of generating incredible graphics, in addition to running exclusive games like Trine 2, Half-Life 2 and others.

Just like the Nexus 6, the Nexus 9 comes with speakers on the front, focusing on the user experience in… eating pastel? Of course not, the focus is clearly on the consumption of multimedia content, ie movies and games. The Nexus 9 will be manufactured by HTC and interestingly will only have 2GB of RAM. The screen resolution will be 1536 x 2048 pixels and it will come in 16GB and 32GB versions.
– Nexus Player: Google's game console
Don't give me mimimi that this is an “hdmi stick” or “it will be nice for those who don't have a smartTV”. It seems, because a smartTV, really smart, does not go for less than R$ 4 thousand reais, and the Nexus Player + a “dumpTV” will do much more than any TV of 4 thousand dilmas. The Nexus Player proposal goes beyond Netflix and Youtube, the console (yes this is a console it runs the same games as android) comes with access to Google Play and will have a special area to access content compatible with, drum roll, a joystick control that will accompany the product.
Of course, the purpose of such a console is not to aim at Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The Nexus Player is a direct attack on the “setup boxes” of companies like Amazon, Apple and Sony. Just to be clear. You consumer who owns a game console, you are not the “target” of this device. The target here is another type of customer like children. That is, the Nexus Player will be for the other TVs in the house or for those who don't play much and just want a casual device. And enough of the ramblings and rumours, the Nexus Player is indeed a game console, otherwise, why would it have a joytick and run games?
The Nexus Player comes with only 8GB of internal memory and 1GB of RAM, it doesn't seem like much, but it's worth remembering that a configuration like this is enough to be able to run practically everything that exists on Google Play. No video of the device running was shown, but from what you can see in the video below, it's the same device.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83KlMtDkyMc– More than ever, the focus of the Nexus line is “Play
When launching a device with joystick control, tablet and smartphone with front speakers, anyone would say that the focus here is on multimedia content. But surprisingly, there are people who say the opposite. Today, smartphone games figure prominently in any display of what a device can do, and the new Nexus is no different.
