Game developer for mobile, smartphone and tablets – Gameloft – has announced that it is already working to bring nine hit games to Android TV. The games will be: My Asphalt 8: Airborne, Despicable One: Minion Rush, Dungeon Hunter 4, Ice Age: Village, GT Racing 2, Modern Combat 4, My Little Pony – Friendship is Magic, Wonder Zoo and World at Arms.
Games will be tweaked to work with gamepads and joystick controls on Android TV consoles. “We worked closely with Google to adapt the quality of several of our games for Android TV, bringing the exciting experience of the titles to the big screen,” says Vice President of Publishing for the Americas, Baudouin Corman. “Gameloft's goal is to expand accessibility and achieve high quality games. As such, we are proud to support innovations from our partners that will improve the in-game experience.”

The first Android TV devices are expected to arrive at the end of September. All games can be downloaded directly from Google Play, just as if they were on a smartphone or tablets. Paid games, which have already been purchased, do not need to be purchased again and with the support of Google Play Games, some games will even be able to transfer the “save” from the smartphone to Android TV.
