Gameloft removes the fiasco called Asphalt Overdrive from Google Play and App Store

In the dead of night, Gameloft removed Asphalt Overdrive from Google Play and the App Store. The game was a runner with cars. With very short matches, Overdrive had an 80s-style setting. A good nostalgia with retro cars like the DeLorean. However, it failed to arouse public interest.

Whoever noticed that the game had disappeared from the app stores was one of our readers in the Facebook group. But the truth is, Asphalt Overdrive may have disappeared a long time ago. The game had a mediocre gameplay and simply did not draw attention. With the release of Asphalt xtreme, the game was thrown into “limbo”.

To complicate matters, the game fell into the hands of hackers, modifications with "unlimited money" were easy to find on the Internet. Thus, Asphalt Overdrive goes into the shadows as another generic game coming from a company that seems to strive to release content that is easy to accept, but without great appeal.

Asphalt Overdrive was originally released in 2014 for Android and iOS and in 2015 for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. The game is still available for those with Windows Phone devices.
