Gameloft published a note on the situation of its studios located in Ukraine.

As you all know, with the military invasion of Russia, the situation of those who live in Ukraine has become quite delicate.

In a statement, Gameloft published that it hopes its employees at two studios are doing well, and asked for understanding in these difficult times.

Gameloft is home to two studios in Ukraine – Kharkiv and Lviv – and we want to express our support for them and everyone else affected by the events unfolding in the country.

We've been following the situation very closely over the last few weeks and are in talks with our Ukrainian studios. We are all deeply saddened by the current events and our thoughts are with our dear team and community members in Ukraine.”

Gameloft also manifested itself through the official page of the game Asphalt, the company's biggest success with versions for Android, iOS, PC and portable consoles.

    hello runners,

As you may already know, most of the development team is located in Ukraine. Gameloft has two studios in Kharkiv and Lviv, and we hope for the safety of everyone in Ukraine.

We want to thank you for your support and understanding during these difficult times.

As stated by the note, most of the Asphalt 8 development team resides in Ukraine. I can't say if it's the same team, but the Asphalt Nitro and Asphalt Nitro 2 games were fully developed there.

Below you can see a video from that time (2016) with the Gameloft development team in Kharkiv responding to comments from the Spanish Asphalt Nitro community.
