Gameloft hasn't introduced any new games for several months. However, the mobile gaming giant is doing “very well thank you”. That's what Vivendi's report presented in Business Wire points out.

With 1,5 million downloads per day (across all platforms) during Q2019 XNUMX, Gameloft is one of the world's leading mobile game producers.

For the first quarter of 2019, Gameloft's revenues totaled €68 million, around BRL 300 million, a decrease of 7,0% compared to the end of the year), of which 72% were realized on platforms OTT (Apple, Google, Microsoft, etc.).

66% of Gameloft's revenue was generated from its own game franchises. Many considered "small" of the company had a great survival as Iron Blade that has a good average of constant downloads.

Gameloft benefited from the solid backlog, including the most downloaded games like Dragon Mania Legends, Disney Magic Kingdoms, Asphalt 9: Legends, March of Empires and Asphalt 8: Airborne.

    – Gameloft will be part of Apple Arcade

In Q2019 25, Gameloft successfully released Modern Combat Blackout, its first game for Nintendo Switch. Gameloft will also be a part, along with other renowned publishers, of the Apple Arcade subscription-based gaming service revealed by Apple on March 2019, XNUMX.

Will we see “paid and offline” versions and freemium games from the company? It is worth remembering that in Apple Arcade, games with in-app purchases and online are prohibited.
