In the story Gale of Windoria, the Tetra Quartzes, the source of all life, were contaminated and a growing sense of dread spread throughout the world.
Shan, a young boy from the Winds, embarks on a quest to purify the contaminated Tetra Quartz and save his childhood companion.
Gale of Windoria's plot and gameplay follows the pattern of other KEMCO games, games that look like they were made from RPG Maker. This may sound like a criticism but it is not.
There is an entire audience that is a fan of this type of game, especially fans of old-school JRPGs like Chrono Trigger.
