Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile, a game developed by Square Enix, is in early beta testing in Japan. The free game for Android and iOS is scheduled to be released in 2022 in Japanese lands.
When the first trailer for Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile, many fans were excited by the cinematics rendered in real time, which indicated a game with amazing graphics.
The first beta test confirms the visuals, but the gameplay may not please those expecting an action game.
Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile is an RPG with turn-based combat that is very reminiscent of Final Fantasy Tactics. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it might upset those who expected more action.
Based on the popular Fullmetal Alchemist anime and manga, this is the franchise's first official mobile game.
The game will feature a story mode that will narrate much of the tragedy of the brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric, in their search for the philosopher's stone, an artifact that can rescue Alphonse's body.
