Many racing games have excellent 3D graphics and simulate reality. But when the player seeks just the opposite. In Final Freeway, the player will experience that old fun of dodging cars at full speed. In the best style of old games like Top Gear and OutRun.
The game available for Android recalls the classics of the 16-bit era. We mentioned the reference to Top Gear, but Final Freeway is more reminiscent of classics like OutRun and the “Father” of Top gear, Lotus Esprit Challenge. Very colorful and fast, the game has a very good framerate, exaggerating the speed and focusing the gameplay on dodging cars while passing through lush green fields and amazing beaches.
There are eight different stages that can be tackled at three levels of difficulty. Final Freeway has several control modes, where the player can use the accelerometer or the touch screen to control the car.
Opinion
Frog! Final Freeway is a game that was definitely missing on Android. The game doesn't have bad graphics. It does a mix of 3D and 2D graphics, in the same style as games like Cruis'n USA. Best of all, the game is completely free to play, the free version shows some ads. But it lets you play offline. For anyone who grew up playing Top Gear, Out Runners and others, Final Freeway is a game I approve and support!
