FINAL FANTASY VIII Remastered, the remastered version of a classic released in 1999 for PlayStation (PS1) has just arrived on Android and iOS.
In fact, the game was released 3 days ago. But as we were in the process of finalizing our video about OFFLINE RPGs in Spanish, it was not possible to post this news beforehand.
Better than the original
While it is possible to emulate the PlayStation 1 version, FFVIII Remastered is a completely revamped game.

This is one of the biggest controversies involving FF8. The game has been in limbo for years, and after a disastrous PC port in 2013, Square Enix looks like it's got its hands dirty.
Nobody knows if the game's code was rewritten (through reverse engineering) or if they found the original code, however, and, in 2019, the company announced the "Remastered" version of FF8 and that's precisely the one that reached cell phones.
FFVIII Remastered gained character models more faithful to the original arts.
The mobile version of Remastered is exactly the same as the one released for PCs and consoles.
Plot:
It is a time of war.
The Republic of Galbadia, under the influence of the sorceress Edea, mobilizes its great armies against the other nations of the world.
Squall and other members of SeeD, an elite mercenary force, team up with Rinoa, a resistance fighter, to fight the tyrannical government of Galbadia and stop Edea from fulfilling her ultimate goal.

Now comes the sad part
As we know, the prices charged by Square Enix in Spain are not friendly at all.
The company has no pricing policy and simply converts the prices of its games from dollars to real. And as our currency is undervalued, the final price of FF8 is an incredible R$95 reais.
And look, the game is still on sale, its normal price is R$ 116 reais.
