Square Enix posted a “Making off”-style documentary on Youtube showing the behind-the-scenes of the creation of a gaming classic that is also available on mobile phones: Final Fantasy IX.
“Inside FINAL FANTASY”, the first in a series of special videos, gives viewers an in-depth look at the series, combining interviews with various original creators, artists and developers.
FINAL FANTASY IX tells a great story of love, war and betrayal in a magical world with exceptional characters. Gidan and the Tantalus Theater Company "kidnap" Princess Garnet, heir to the throne of the kingdom of Alexandria. Surprisingly, Garnet was trying to escape the castle. Together, they will explore the world and meet new friends and enemies in an unforgettable journey.”

Final Fantasy IX was remastered and released in 2016 for Android and iOS.
