It's been about 3 years since Square-Enix announced a partnership with Nexon to launch a reboot of Final Fantasy 11 (XI) for mobile phones. For those who don't remember, FFXI was that MMORPG set in the world of Final Fantasy and with versions for Playstation 2 and PC.
The game released in 2002, was not very well received by critics, but later gained interesting updates. The recreation of the game for mobile seems to be taking longer than expected, but the screenshoots that emerged this week are encouraging. Check out the images below.
The leaked images are from a job vacancy, posted on the Nexon blog. The vacancy, in this case, would be for the position of screenwriter.
