Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier received a third season. Titled Highway Star, the third season of Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier has finally been released. This update brings the latest content from Square Enix and introduces new skins, a map, a season pass, bonus and more.
The new map is Midgar Plateside, which features iconic locations from the FF7 Remake such as Mako Reactor Core 1, Sector 8, and Highway. This new map will be smaller and will feature matches for up to 60 players. There will also be a time change on the map with “Day” and “Night” versions where there are Mako pools that deal damage over time.
But I know the big highlight you've been waiting for is the new skins. For starters, the game will finally receive the long-awaited Skin of the greatest Soldier of all time, and also FF7's main antagonist, Sephiroth.
The Sephiroth Skin pack costs 300 Shinra Credits or five Advanced Shinra Tickets and features the character's skin with an alternate version, emote and death effect.
The update also brings a new skin leveling system aimed at players who have duplicate skins. Now, as skins level up, new rewards will be unlocked. Login bonuses have also been added and players will receive the Soldier Sample Mako skin and 35 Shinra Advanced Tickets over the next two months.

Trying to recover from the fall
FFVII The First Soldier tries to recover from the fall since its successful launch. The game was very well received by the public, but the joy turned to discontent weeks later. Server problems drove many players away.
Currently, The First Soldier has a low amount of downloads according to the Sensor Tower website. It doesn't even reach 30 monthly downloads, which is a disaster for Square Enix. At launch, the game easily hit a million.
Because of this, Square Enix is giving away a lot of items in the game. Anyone who is a longtime fan of Final Fantasy VII needs to give this game a try.
