The legendary Fatal Fury fighting game franchise lands once again on mobile phones with Fatal Fury 1: King of Fighters. The game was released for Android e iOS through the initiative  Aca Neo Geo archive.

Originally released in 1991 and with versions at the time for Neo Geo, Arcade and Mega Drive, Fatal Fury is the beginning of SNK's consolidation in fighting games. The game even came with the subtitle “King of Fighters”, a tournament that would become a trademark of the producer.

Created by the legendary Takashi Nishiyama, who not only directed the game but is also the creator of The King of Fighters and Street Fighter franchises when he worked at CAPCOM in 1987.

How I met Fatal Fury 1

Going back to Fatal Fury 1, this was the first fighting game I saw on the Mega Drive. Fatal Fury, was and is impressive for today. At the time, it was an incredibly colorful game full of impressive effects.

For the present day, Fatal Fury 1 has simple commands, but maybe that's a good thing for its mobile version. As the gameplay is slower and the controls not so complicated, the game fits perfectly for playing on the touchscreen.

Fatal Fury: King of Fighters is available for R$14,90 on Android and R$22,90 on iOS. The game is offline, but unfortunately it does not support Bluetooth controllers. What a blunder huh SNK.

Note Fatal Fury Special, the reimagining of the second game, will also get an update for the Aca Neo Geo archive.
