As the name implies, Dragon Quest Tact is a strategic RPG in which you embark on an adventure to defeat an evil force that poses a serious threat to the world of Orchesterra. Along the way, you'll be able to join a cast of recognizable monsters from throughout the series' history.
Is it almost a Pokemon? Yes, however, with much simpler mechanics and a focus on making you spend a little money trying to collect all the little monsters.
The player must create a squad of monsters and face battles on a kind of chess board. You place meles or tanks in the front and healers and dps in the back. The further you advance in the story, the more monsters you will be able to recruit to fight for your cause while updating your existing roster.
Outside of the main story, you can delve into Battle Road's challenges, where you can discover more knowledge about your band of creatures. According to the developers, the game will offer a simple yet deep RPG experience that has something to offer both newcomers and veterans alike.
