Dr Disrespect infuriates the mobile community again

Mobile games are in the spotlight. Even in live streams of high-end PC games, there are always comments about mobile games.

The controversy of the time was with the streamer Dr Disrespect (Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV). He infuriated the Call of Duty Mobile community after a tweet about mobile games. Check out:

I’ve got 3 state-of-the-art 1ms speed color calibrated monitors staring at me, a keyboard with titan switch optical keystrokes and a mouse that weighs literally nothing backed by a 200k multi pc setup….

….and you have the guts to tell me mobile gaming is a serious thing?

“I have 3 state-of-the-art 1ms calibrated monitors looking at me, a keyboard with titan switches, and a mouse that literally weighs nothing, backed up by a $200.000 multi-PC setup…

…And you have the nerve to tell me that mobile games are serious business?”

It is worth remembering that Dr Disrepect is sponsored by Gfuel and it was precisely another player and streamer sponsored by GFuel, Fergus “ferg” Stephenson, who responded to “Doc's” tweet.

1v1 on COD Mobile for $100,000

You on your PC and I'll play mobile

    — Ferg🚩 (@Ferg) November 26, 2020

“1v1 not COD Mobile for $100.000

You on your PC and I will play on mobile”

Team Xset's professional PUBG Mobile player Juicy also got involved in the beef and responded to the "Two-Time" tweet. He called Dr Disrespect "Old Man" and added that mobile gaming is too hard for his "grumpy old" fingers. Juicy also reminded Doc that PUBG Mobile's 2021 prize pool is somewhere around $14 million.

Mobile gaming is just to difficult for your old crusty ass fingers to navigate step bro. All I hear is complaining for the old geezer himself. You remind me a lot of Jiraiya, the old pervy sage himself. Ya damn OLD MAN! 😤

It's not the first time that Dr Disrespect has been involved in a controversy with mobile gamers. Last year he tweeted that "Mobile gamers are not real gamers".

    Mobile gamers aren’t real gamers.

Dr Direspect se rendering ao mobile?

The beef dragged on on the 28th as Doc's live stream was invaded by viewers asking for his challenge against Ferg. The spam was so great that “Two Time” decided to put the chat in “members only” mode.

While not directly responding to either player's claim, Dr Disrespect tweeted about the possibility of playing a mobile game and streaming it.

Hypothetically speaking, how do you video capture a mobile device for OBS?

I know I know, you’re probably thinking why would anyone do that. Hahaha. That’s what I’m trying to tell my friend.

    Anyways, any ideas?

You can clearly see that the popular former Twitch streamer has no mobile gaming skills and doesn't even know that nowadays it's possible to stream live via HDMI very easily on both Android and iOS at 60 FPS. Doc must also not know that nowadays there are smartphones with a screen with a refresh rate of 144hz.

And so? Will the challenge take place? Ferg believes so and has even prepared a video on his channel, “the $1k COD Mobile 1v100 challenge”.

    We're excited.
