Distrust is a horror game inspired by the 1982 John Carpenter film “The Thing”. The title arrives for iPhone and iPad, but had already been released for PC in 2018.

The game puts the player in the shoes of scientists on a mission in Antarctica. Along with them is a shape-shifting creature that takes on bodies and can turn anyone. The game has both Survivor Horror and Roguelike elements.

Distrust is a survival game. The player needs to take care of all the scientists and see if they are all doing two tasks, well fed and warm. But it is also a horror game, the beast lurks and you don't know who will be the next “infected”.

The big difficulty is not letting anyone sleep, that's when things start to get terrifying. Distruct's formula is very simple, but it's interesting how things develop. A game that is definitely worth checking out.

The game is free to download and try, but you have to pay to complete the story. Distrust is even cheap, at launch, the game costs R$ 10,90.
