Desert Battleground is a Battle Royale-style game, similar to Free Fire, but with one difference: it has an OFFLINE mode. With a different proposal, the game is fun and is ideal for those who do not have internet, but would like to play a “Free Fire offline”.
The maps and graphics are rudimentary, but the gameplay is kind of fun. You land on a desert map with 149 bots. Your mission is to survive.
The title works like any Battle Royale. Survivors parachute down and need to collect resources to survive. Pick up weapons, medkit, vest and etc. Desert Battleground also has vehicles that can be used to run over enemies.
The controls are identical to any PUBG and Free Fire style game. With the difference that the buttons are ultra colorful and large, which facilitates the touch on cell phones with small screens. Once again it is evident that Desert Battleground is focused on the less fortunate.
Desert Battleground's bots are a little smarter than PUBG Mobile's. They take some work and don't move in an obvious way. The amount is impressive, there will be 149 of them for you to kill.
It is worth remembering that this is not the first offline Battlegrounds game. At the height of the “Do know the away” meme, someone created a Battle Royale with Unganda's Knuckles.
– Created a “Free Fire Offline”
Desert Battleground is a game that is very reminiscent of Free Fire's amateurism at the beginning. But Garena's game has evolved over the months and Naxeex Studio has everything to make a polished game in this genre. It would be interesting to include an offline duo mode, via Bluetooth, can you imagine?
Desert Battleground has a very simple look, more simplistic than Free Fire and other games. But if it's any consolation, the game has only 89 MB and runs even on smartphones with 768 MB of RAM.
