Death Race has just won a game for Android and iOS. The curious detail is that the film was released in 2008, seven years ago. With versions for Android and iOS, the game has good graphics, but the gameplay is very casual.
In Death Race: The Game, the player faces races to defeat enemies and even destroy them in a kind of Mario Kart on steroids. Everything is based on the movie, which has actor Jason Statham as the protagonist. Few people know, but the film won two more sequels, one in 2011 and another in 2013.
Returning to the game, Death Race was developed by Genera Games and has a strange gameplay, based on quick time events. That is, you don't really control the car, you just determine what to do at key moments like drifting or shooting enemies.

As a casual game, the game works, but those looking for something more elaborate will be disappointed. even the version for Java mobile phones, released in 2008, had more playability.
