Initially I thought it was a joke, but it's not that there's even a Dead Trigger movie coming out "allegedly" in May 2019.
Dead Trigger: The Movie will star none other than Dolph Lundgren (Rocky IV) who will play Kyle Walker. Kyle is the same name as the protagonist of Dead Trigger 1 and 2.
The film's synopsis is bizarre and at the same time refers directly to the Dead Trigger games. Check out!
Terminal City, 2025: A mysterious virus has killed billions and turned many more into bloodthirsty zombies. Unable to stop the virus, the government develops a video game, "Dead Trigger", that mirrors the terrifying events that curse the world.
The players who kill the most zombies in the game are recruited to fight the zombie horde in real life. Led by Captain Kyle Walker (Dolph Lundgren), an elite team travels to Terminal City, the source of the outbreak, to find a team of scientists who are working on a possible cure for the virus. The only way to get to them, however, is through a city full of terrifying undead mutants...
Apparently, the film goes straight to streaming services like Amazon Prime and Netflix. But the most bizarre thing is that there is only a single trailer, released in November 2017.
