After a lot of fussing, Dead Island: Survivors, the mobile spin-off of the PC and console game, comes to mobile Android. It is not yet the final release, but the game already appears on Google Play with the seal “Unreleased”. That means it's in open testing for anyone to download.

A success on consoles and PC, Dead Island is a zombie game with elements of adventure and Survivor Horror. The mobile version, however, moves more towards the strategy side.  But that doesn't take the action out of the game. You will still have to command the characters in the killing of zombies. The view is isometric.

The graphics of Dead Island: Survivors are in the cartoon style, but it is still possible to recognize some of the already classic characters of the franchise.

The game cycle consists of participating in missions where you collect items, build deadly traps and detonate hundreds of zombies. It works like a kind of Tower Defense, but with the possibility of controlling the characters.

Dead Island: Survivors was developed by Fish Labs in partnership with Techland. The game is completely free, but there are in-app purchases. Internet connection is required to play.
