It is now available for download on Android and iOS, the game Crossout Mobile. The conversion of a PC MMO game isn't quite what many expected, but it packs a lot of action with electrifying PvP.
In Crossout Mobile, players will battle as a team to face an opposing team. The game works in the style of a “CS:GO” with cars full of weapons, or if you are old, like a Viligante 8 or Twisted Metal.
The gameplay consists of 6v6 battles where the only objective is to be the best driver in the group. It looks simple, but the game follows the Crossout formula, so there are a few more steps.
Players will have to build a vehicle with unique modifications and weapons that complement their playstyle. For example, drivers can create a robust vehicle such as a heavily armored car, a fast and agile buggy, or an all-encompassing wagon and check a few boxes of each criterion. With the availability of infinite mods, there is room for heavy customization to create extremely distinctive vehicles.
The graphics are very nice and the gameplay is quite accessible. The game is easy to play and it's very quick to find matches.
To a certain extent, Crossout Mobile closely resembles the PC version, but with more limited graphics and more straightforward modes.
However, the command system can seem confusing, as the game has automatic acceleration.
The game already has 5 million downloads, but public reception has been mixed, with many people complaining about the lack of features like a battle pass and rewards.
