The PC version of Crazy Racing KartRider has always been a very important game for Nexon in South Korea and China. Apparently, it's time for the franchise that seems to mix “Bomberman and Mario Kart” to reach Android phones and iPhones.
In fact, KartRider was even released on iOS in 2011, but it didn't do very well. But MMOCulture recently discovered that Nexon has registered new trademarks for Crazy Racing KartRider in the west. Along with that, they also opened pre-registration of movile versions of Crazy Racing in China.
A new mobile version known as “Crazy Racing KartRider” is now in the pre-registration phase in China under Tencent Games.
The Korean PC version also changed its name to “GOD KartRider” after a major update. It is currently unknown what the mysterious “KartRider: Drift” trademark is for, but it is most likely the title of the mobile version. No matter, Nexon Korea should release a new racing game soon, so stay tuned for more updates!
