Hey “young people”! Do you like synthwave? Do you like those XNUMX's songs? then you will love it Chaser Tracer.

The new music game from Adki Works brings an addictive arcade experience to Android, iPhone and iPad device owners.

It sounds like an ordinary music game, but here the symphony is more relaxed. The music plays freely and you just have to swipe your finger on the screen to hit the combinations.

The music connects with the sound effects and produces a very satisfying reaction when playing. What exactly is the footprint of music games.

“Basically, Chaser Tracer is a little trip back in time,” says Adam Zerlin of Adki Works. “The initial idea was based on a game we played as children: Duck Duck Goose. This simple concept of being chased by something led to the idea of the Chaser Tracer. To elevate things, we explored procedural shape generation – which was then incorporated as the main basis for level creation, player hazards, and even the design of power-ups. ”

“Our first Chaser Tracer prototypes consisted of a single shape outlined by a series of landmarks,” says Masaki Pierce, co-founder of Adki Works. “The objective was to reach all the waypoints before your opponent – the AI – reached you. To give gamers the full '80s experience, the sound effects and soundtrack were created using precise (and totally extreme) synthesizers like the Yamaha DX-7 and CS-80; Roland Jupiter-8, TR-808 and TR-909; and Sequential Prophet-5”.
