CAPCOM will disable Puzzle Fighter on July 31st

Puzzle Fighter is another small failure by Capcom in the mobile world. The game was announced just 8 months ago and will already have its service closed. According to the producer, the game will be discontinued so that the team can dedicate itself to the launch of the next Dead Rising for consoles.

Internal purchases will be disabled on April 23 (Monday). The game will be removed from Google Play and App Store on July 31st and servers will be shut down on July XNUMXst. As this is an exclusively online game, it will be impossible to play after that date.

Current players will be presented with 10 gem coins, and the next characters (Regina, Wily, and Ada Wong) and stages (Darminor and Uroboros Laboratory) will be available for free. Regina and Dr. Wily will be available today, while Ada Wong and the new stages will be available on April 23rd. Today, the game's soundtrack will also be available to stream online for free via SoundCloud. Finally, the game's Classic Mode limited special event will be available at all times until the service ends.

The cuter, more casual version of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo failed to captivate audiences. The game had only 60 downloads in March this year (according to Sensor Tower), numbers that could be applied to a premium game (paid games are among the least profitable apps).

Recently, the game was announced for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in Europe. We don't know if it will be the same version or if it will be canceled.
