What would you do if you were stuck in the universe of the last game you played? This is the proposal of the anime BTOOOM! In it, an unemployed young man wakes up in the “real life” version of his favorite strategy game. The anime is from 2012, but the manga is in full swing. With the new volumes, also came images of the future online game for Android e iOS. And look, the view is impressive!
Produced by Asobimo, the same producer of Avabel, BTOOOM! Online will have concealment mechanics where the player must throw bombs at the enemy and remain unseen. Players will face off on islands online, using various types of bombs that appear in the manga and anime.
As it has a different gameplay from FPS/TPS, in BTOOOM! you have to be stealthy, make alliances and search for survival items, all very similar to the anime. The game still doesn't have a release date, but according to information it will be a free game with online multiplayer. A Western release has not been confirmed.
BTOOOM! It's a pretty violent anime and manga, with near-rape scenes, shocking deaths, that sort of thing. But obviously, the violence will be greatly reduced so that the game won't be banned from Google Play or the App Store.
