Runescape old and new is on its way to cell phones. PC MMORPGs are all the rage on mobile. After Albion, LineAge and others, it's time for Runescape to also make it to the Android and iOS. And it won't be just one version, but two.
Runescape is an old-school MMORPG. The original game had good 3D graphics, but it was very common for players to reduce the visuals to the maximum to be able to run on old computers. Runescape is registered by Guinness World Records as the most played browser-based MMORPG in the world.
It seems that the producer will bring two versions exactly for this reason, to maintain compatibility with old Android phones. Runescape Classic will be light and identical to the original game. The new version will have more touch commands and better graphics.
For now, only these two images have appeared on the internet. But the game's producer also posted a press release, in which it informs everything that was posted here. The two versions of Runescape will arrive together by the end of 2017.
