For those unfamiliar, soft launch is the term used when games are first released in certain regions of the world, so that developers can test and subsequently release in a larger region.
Boom Beach: Frontlines takes place in the same universe as Boom Beach and is a top down shooter with 9v9 battles, and which is geared towards strategy and teamwork. In the game, players can control armies and vehicles in battle, as well as expand their HQ and arsenal to return to the archipelago.
Still in gameplay, PvP offers a range of troops, vehicles, power-ups and defenses with unique abilities, with strengths requiring the player to use them strategically, all of which can be collected and upgraded.
