– Best mobile ACTION game in 2020
We started our list on the right foot. This year, we had the launch of great titles in the Action genre. Bloodstained, Castlevania, Dead Cells and The Pathless, but one game stood out for “not taking the hand” of the player, and yes, literally hitting it.
Pascal's Wager is a “Souls Like” game that brings to mobile that delicious feeling of dying in the same boss thousands of times and never getting angry. It was the first mobile “Action RPG” to truly challenge the player fairly.
The game arrived at the beginning of the year and remained our pick for best action game. Pascal's Wager delivers the challenge to measure. The player will need to acquire skill and study the paths and enemies of the game very well.
The story of the game is very cool and combines well with the dark theme. Pascal's Wager isn't very long, but with the additional DLCs it can be around 20 hours. Worth every cent.
– Best RACING mobile game in 2020
The release of Mario Kart Tour was a complete disaster. One of the worst in terms of acceptance. The game came with an aggressive monetization system, plastered screen format and boring commands.
Throughout 2020, Mario Kart Tour has improved a lot, the multiplayer mode was added and the game gained the possibility to play in landscape mode (with the cell phone down).
With that, Mario Kart Tour returned to being such an interesting title that it won the trophy for best racing game of 2020. After all, these updates saved the game. Literally a relaunch.

– Best mobile SHOOT game of 2020
It was easy to choose the “Best Shooting Game” of 2020. There were very few quality releases in this subgenre. Although some titles released had good visual quality, they always disappointed in one or another mechanic, not to mention that many releases were extremely amateurish.
That year, Omega Legends shone. IGG's Battle Royale. Although it got off to a bad start, the Skyunion game was acquired by IGG and became a promising hit. The big attraction is the creative and stylish characters. The game takes the “hero shooters” formula to BR mode. The Fortnite-like aesthetic helped too, but it was the fact that the game was very light, which made a lot of people interested in Omega Legends.

In terms of adventure game, Forgotton Anne from Hitcents shone brilliantly. The story revolves around a girl who lives in the world of forgotten things. There is a regime in that world and she works for a gentleman who has taken care of her since the girl was very young.
But then we start to ask ourselves: “Isn't the girl also someone who has been forgotten? ”. The game is all in Spanish and has beautiful art. A true gaming masterpiece.

– Best mobile STRATEGY game of 2020
The year 2020 was very different from the usual for those who enjoy strategy games. Several good games were released in this style, but many were overlooked by the general public for being paid games.
games like Kingdom two crowns, The bonfire 2, Company of Heroes e Bad North: Jotunn Edition packed the year with their deep narratives, mixed with gameplay where you need to use a couple more neurons.
But it was the surprise launch of XCOM 2 that made all the players gape. The sequel to the acclaimed game was ported by surprise to iOS. The game is even released for PC and Xbox One, but it has undergone serious visual changes. The Android version is for 2021.

– Best PUZZLE / Puzzle game of 2020
The puzzle genre and mobile have a certain affinity. There's nothing better than a game you can pause at any time and have no negative impact.
In 2020, we welcome excellent puzzle games such as The almost gone, Donut County e Layton: Unwound Future HD. But the game that caught our attention was The Gardens Between.
In The Gardens Between, two young people live the drama of a change that will tear them apart. In the game, we relive their memories. The challenge is to solve the puzzles, get through the level and find the exit.
The main mechanic involves manipulating time and objects so that everything fits together and the characters manage to reach the end of the level.
At the same time that the player does this, he ends up understanding what that memory means to the boy and the girl. great!

– Best Mobile RPG of 2020
Choosing the best RPG for Android and iOS of 2020 was quite difficult. On the one hand, we had the excellent offline RPG Star Wars Kotor II, and on the other, the great, but gacha, Genshin impact.
In the end, he won the Genshi Impact. miHoYo's game has brought a lot of innovation to mobile phones and has set a new level in the genre. In reality, it was more about bringing the online RPG genre back to its roots. Without automatic mode and other facilities that made the genre games only “watchable”, Genshi Impact set a new standard.
There is now the before and after of Genshin Impact. A proof of this is the release of other RPGs that were very “hyped”, but that now, fans of the genre are rarely interested (I'm talking about you A3). After Genshin Impact, the search for similar games became common; truly open world games, with a good story and many hours of gameplay.
Despite having a negative point, the "gacha", Genshin Impact allows you to play a lot and evolve free characters without spending a penny. All the player needs to do is manage their resources well and not be fooled by cute characters.
Download Genshin Impact from Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS).

– Best Mobile FIGHTING Game of 2020
In one of my favorite genres, fighting games, this year was very strange. We started the year very excited with the supposed launch of Metal Revolution, but out of nowhere, the game was removed from Google Play. What was joy turned into sadness when I learned that Tencent's game "flopped".
Then we had the Street Fighter game releases. But look at the irony: none of them were fighting games. Street Fighter on mobile in 2020 ended up in the RPG / Gacha and Card Game genres.
Who loves to get out in the virtual beating, can enjoy games like Vita fighters, Dj-Row e Dual Souls. But the game that really gave that “ultra combo” to the genre was HeroVersus. The fighting game was released in beta on Google Play at the end of 2019.
Inspired by Street Fighter V, HeroVersus seeks to emulate the fun of the CAPCOM game, and adapts the gameplay to touch screens. But no swiping here or there. In HeroVersus, the controls were very well adapted, delivering a decent and competitive gameplay.
Baixe HeroVersus na Google Play (Android).
Developer: miHoYo | Online game
Contains built-in purchases: Yes
Requires Android 5.0 / iOS 9.0
Language: Spanish | Size: 6 GB
– Best GRAPHICS in a mobile game of 2020

Genshin Impact is not the game that demands the most processing, but it is the one that best delivers a vibrant result in terms of visuals. Online RPG is very beautiful even on low video setting.
Teyvat's open world, combined with a perfect scale between graphics and gameplay, results in an immersive game. The best “graphic” in video games is the graphic that is identical to the look the artist wanted to convey.
It doesn't have to be realistic, it has to be consistent with the art the studio wanted to create. In the case of Genshin Impact, as all non-interactive scenes are reproduced by the game engine, the title gets even more points for delivering a respectable result.
Download Genshin Impact from Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS).
- MOST AWAITED game of 2021
We all know how difficult 2020 was, but few companies have had to rethink their plans as much as Riot Games. Slated to arrive as a "full and global" release in 2020, League of Legends: Wild Rift needed to be delayed a "Cyberpunk 2077" level of being.
Many players were outraged, but after the disaster called “Cyberpunk 2077 launch”, I believe many will agree that it is better to postpone. Unlike CD Projekt RED's game, the mobile version of LoL is the kind of game that needs a perfect launch window. Otherwise, the game may be less successful than expected and lose audience to its main competitor. Which would be a tremendous shame.
But just like Genshin Impact's surprise, Wild Rift could set a new standard for mobile gaming. The standard by which you can play the game of the moment anywhere. It is true that Fortnite has been doing this for years, but with another strong name, it may finally enter the minds of many narrow-minded people that mobile is here to stay.
– BEST MOBILE GAME of 2020
You have to know how to recognize the best gaming experience of 2020. That game that delivered what it set out to do and didn't irritate anyone (at least not in the wrong way).
In mobile games, the difficulty has always been seen as something to be reduced so that the player does not drop the game. Lost a lot in a competitive game? See the algorithm send you to less experienced players. Are you playing a game offline? Notice how the difficulty is much more moderate than in games on other platforms.
I was recently playing Horizon Chase Turbo on PS4 and I realized how much more difficult the game is than the mobile version. And that's just to cite an example.
In modern gaming history, one franchise has stood out for not being afraid to provoke the player. This franchise is called Dark Souls.
The game we've chosen as the best of 2020, draws directly from the source of FromSoftware's classics. Dark atmosphere, Lore full of mysteries, beautiful art and a gameplay that severely punishes those who are a fan of “smash the button”.
After many “Dark Souls Mobile”, Pascal's Wager, from TipsWorks, delivers a worthy experience to fans of “Souls Like”. A game that you simply don't want to stop until you defeat the last boss.
From the combat design, through the stages and backtracking, everything is very well architected in Pascal's Wager. Perhaps the graphics leave a bit to be desired, but the visuals have clearly been sacrificed a bit in the name of compatibility.
Of all the games released in 2020, if Pascal's Wager was delayed or cancelled, I would miss it terribly. Indispensable game for those who are fans of the genre and for those who want to know it too, as there is an “easier” mode (not in the last part).
And here ends our top with the best mobile games of 2020. In 2021, we will pay special attention to the channel. See you in 2021.
