iOS in general is quite successful in Japan. It could also be, the people with the slanted eye are addicted to technology. The latest news there was Bandai's launch of a card game that uses augmented reality for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The idea is to see the characters in action fighting on the screen of the devices.
At the presentation, only characters from the Kamen Rider and One Piece series were confirmed.
