10th – Inotia 3: Children of Carnia (Free)
Playing Inotia 3 in 2011 was a great experience. Android was starting to consolidate in the market, and Inotia emerged as a clear case of an action RPG with an anime look. The simple and straightforward gameplay captivates even today those who want to play without worrying about battery or internal space, since the game consumes a measly 25 MB. The story of Inotia 3 is not robust, but it has some twists, and death of characters that mark the narrative. However, what really stands out is the class system with many things to evolve in your character.

9º – The Shadow Sun (R$ 11,49)
The Shadow Sun is an RPG game with real-time combat. The game has a great presentation, very good graphics and an anti-climax story, which unfolds slowly but convincingly. The game was developed by producers who worked on projects like Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, and The Witcher. The dialogues aren't the game's strong point, but the 10-hour campaign with lots of action holds several surprises.

8º – Knights of Pen and Paper (R$ 11,85)
Making a list of RPG games on Android without mentioning the fun, and extremely competent, Knights of Pen and Paper is a tremendous “missplay”. The game produced by Spanish studio Behold Studios, is a fun parody of tabletop role-playing games. You will command people like a nerd and a motoboy in a very fun RPG table. The game is full of comic references that, thanks to the Spanish support, make the game inviting for anyone. The captivating pixel-art visual hides quality features, such as support for two types of views: portrait and landscape.

5º – Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition (R$ 22,30)
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is the remake of the classic Baldu's Gate, developed by Bioware in 1998. This RPG with an aerial view, seems silly to the less attentive eyes, but it unfolds in an adventure with more than 60 hours of duration. The game is set in the same universe as Dungeons & Dragons (Dragon Cave for the layman..rs). Most recommended for tablets, Baldur's Gate, has small print dialogs. 3º – Chaos Rings (R$ 17,76)
Chaos Rings is a role-playing game released for Android in 2010, that's right, four years ago. The greatest warriors in the world are transported to a ship and must overcome various challenges to ensure the existence of their planet. Always in pairs, the story is told in a touching way, showing the relationship between the characters. With a beautiful look, Chaos Rings has a combat system that seems repetitive, but compensates the player with a mild difficulty and multiple endings. The drama of some scenes is very great, thanks in part to a soundtrack that will break anyone's heart. If you liked the first one, be sure to check out the sequels Omega and Chaos Rings 2.

2º – The Banner Saga (R$ 25,99)
Developed by former employees of Bioware, the same company that created masterpieces such as Mass Effect, The Banner Saga is a strategy and role-playing game with a unique look and storyline that is totally outside the industry standards. The game chronicles the war between three races, Humans, Dredges and Varls. Inspired by Viking legends, The Banner Saga characters have a stylized look with clear similarities to Disney cartoons from the 50s. This earned the game several awards. The gameplay is within what many have known through games like Final Fantasy Tactics, with combats in scenarios that resemble boards. The game has excellent animation scenes and epic narrative. Indispensable for lovers of the RPG genre.

1º – Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King (R$ 43,80)
Dragon Quest VIII is a JRPG class in every way. Published by Square-Enix, but developed by the competent studio Level-5, Dragon Quest 8 is the ultimate masterpiece of the franchise, released for Playstation 2 in 2004. The Android version arrived in 2014, and has a slightly different interface, but that it has the same graphics and an extensive, very extensive campaign. In command of a young warrior, you must save a king and princess who have been cursed. The turn-based combats are far from easy and the weapon and skill system shines as one of the highlights of the game. The price is high, but Dragon Quest 8 is a game that easily yields 60 hours of gameplay or more if you are going to explore all the secrets of the game like collecting all the animals.
