Ace Racer, dubbed by many as “Asphalt by NetEase” will start the first beta test in the west. The test starts today (8) and runs until April 26.
The Ace Racer beta test is available for download on Google Plays in the US and Canada. Anyone who wants to test the game, just download the game directly from Google Play in these countries via VPN.
As NetEase informed us in a release, the purpose of beta testing is to collect feedback from players in order to improve and optimize the game's content prior to release.
How is Ace Racer?
For those who don't know, Ace Racer is an arcade racing game with licensed cars with a very futuristic and unrealistic feel.
The focus of the game is online racing with lots of skidding and using these skids as a mechanic to improve the vehicle's acceleration.
As the game unfolds, that is, as you win races, you earn money to exchange for new parts to tune your car, or buy a completely different one.
Ace Racer will catch the attention of longtime Ridge Racer fans. The game even has several Idols, which are very reminiscent of the characters in old Ridge Racer games.
Ace Racer does not yet have a release date set. But like many other NetEase games, the game looks literally ready, with just a release in the west.
Races in Ace Racer can be completed in about a minute, making it the perfect racing experience for those players who don't have a lot of free time.
First released in China
Ace Racer first appeared in June 2020. The game was released in China in May 2021. And more than a year later in April 2022 beta testing begins.
Notice a pattern there? So it is. Whenever you see someone making a damned hype of a game in beta testing in China, remember it's very likely that that game arrives in the west just two years later.
