    Dead Effect 2 (Free)

In this sci-fi epic that mixes elements of Dead Space with DOOM, you're in a spaceship full of monsters. In addition to ensuring their own survival, the player still needs to understand what is happening, and try to save people on the ship. Lots of levels, non-repetitive gameplay and jaw-dropping graphics. Seriously, Dead Effect 2 is one of the best looking mobile games out there and it displays great graphics even on modest devices.

Dead Effect 2 can be played offline in guest mode, but connecting your Facebook or Google account is a great idea as it guarantees automatic cloud saves. Whether linking an account or not, the player can enjoy hours of offline gaming. O first game (Android) it's also offline and just as awesome. The Dead Effect franchise is an easy choice to feature in our top of the best shooters for Android and iOS.

    Bullet Force (Free)

Bullet Force is one of the great promises of this year 2016. The shooting game brings good graphics and fast and accessible gameplay. No bullshit or tons of in-app purchases, Bullet Force offers one of the most fun and consistent multiplayer modes out there.

The most fun mode is online, but for those who want to spend time without internet, the mode with offline missions will not disappoint. There are many stages, which yield the ideal training to face the main mode. Quite complete is one of the best online shooting games today for Android and iOS.

    Modern Combat 4 (R$ 6,99)

Modern Combat 4 is another one of those “old” Gameloft games. You can see a huge difference between it and Modern Combat 5. MC 4 was the last game in the 100% premium franchise, which guarantees an OFFLINE singleplayer campaign free of fads like short stages and tons of in-app purchases.

This classic, present on both Android and iOS, is one of the few Gameloft shooters to create a mythology for the series. Here she is represented in the form of the villain, Edward Page. After MC4, Gameloft games became so generic that they lost that “console game on mobile” feeling.

    Dead Trigger (Thanks)

One of the first phenomena in the recent history of the mobile world was Dead Trigger. Since it appeared there in 2012, the game surprises with exceptional visuals and gameplay. The game was paid, but became a free and offline game. While there are its “big brothers”, Dead Trigger 2 and Unkilled, they are online only, and because of that, only the first Dead Trigger is on the list.

Escape from a zombie apocalypse and survive through various scenarios of a devastated city. The game has an amazing visual that surprises to this day. Special because it runs well on the vast majority of cell phones.

    CKZ Origins (Free)

GLU Mobile used to play game by game with Gameloft to see who released the best mobile games. These days, it's a company focused on freemium games with gameplay that's so chewed up, it irritates.

From the GLU's golden generation there are only a few games left, and one of them is CKZ Origins or Contract Killer Zombie Origins. With a story beyond Resident Evil 4 and 5, CKZ Origins features characters and lots of content to explore. Of course, it's not a paid game and there's a lot of freemium annoyance, but it can be played offline, unlike most of the company's games.

    Pixel Gun (Crying)

Minecraft may seem like a boring game to most people, but just add weapons and things start to get interesting. Pixel Gun is just that, Minecraft with guns and lots of shooting. Have fun with up to 8 players in various modes with lots of weapons.

Not interested in Pixel Gun multiplayer? All right, the game is filled with singleplayer missions that involve exploration and survival. Seriously, the campaign mode is practically hidden in the main menu, but it manages to be better than the multiplayer mode. Fun for many hours without having to access the internet.

    Xenowerk (Free)

Xenowerk is a top-down shooter where you must survive a mutated infestation. The game has a simple premise, but the graphics and gameplay are excellent. The great merit is the level design, which allows you to explore freely and without needing the game to tell you what to do every 10 seconds (as with other mobile games).

There are 50 stages in total, with a good variety of monsters and bosses that will require your skill. Throughout the game, you need to collect better weapons to be able to move forward and reach the end of the game. Something completely possible to do without the need to connect.

    Brothers in Arms 3 (Grátis)

Brothers in Arms 3 is a third-person shooter whose missions take place in the midst of World War II. Direct sequel to Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front, BIA 3 puts the player on missions in France and Germany in the 40s. The game is fun, but much less realistic than its predecessor.

The graphics are cool and the gameplay is quite accessible. The game is focused on online with missions and multiplayer in that sense. But there is the possibility to play offline, and complete missions when the internet is not available.

    Space Marshals (Free)

Space Marshals is one of those hidden gems on the Google Play and App Store. A criminal escapes from a special prison and you are the sheriff who will capture him. With an excellent story mode, with good characters and calibrated gameplay. Space Marshals doesn't waste time and always puts you in action in well thought-out stages.

The game's text is essential, and it doesn't bore you with unnecessary dialogue. It's all very well done, with small conversations that explain the story, the rest is a delicious addictive game. 100% guaranteed that you will finish this game more than once.

Also check Space Marshals 2 (Android e iOS), it is also offline.

    Occupation (Free)

Occupation is a curious indie game that doesn't excel in graphics or gameplay, but captivates by its premise. In charge of a young man in a small village, the player will have to seek the safety of his family in the midst of a zombie infestation. They not only walk, but run towards you.

There is no campaign, the game is Sandbox style, and there are small missions to complete. Explore at will and seek your survival in this addictive game.

An infestation of zombies and monsters has taken over the place, and people run around desperately. There is no campaign, the game is Sandbox style, and there are small missions to complete. Explore at will and seek your survival in this addictive game.

Occupation won in 2017 a sequel called Occupation 2 (Android) and it's also offline and free.

    Lonewolf (Free)

In the game Lonewolf, you will be an assassin for hire, whose mission is to eliminate predetermined targets through an immersive story. The game has a noir feel with a good story.

The action in the game is simple, but the highlight is the story.

    ROBOTS (Free)

In this first-person shooter, it's all about survival. Destroy all robots using the most varied weapons. The look of the game is very beautiful, and very stylish too, reminiscent of games like Super Hot and Portal.

    Shadowgun (R$ 15,99)

Shadowgun was the closest we had on mobile to a Gear of War. In this third-person shooter, you control John Slade. A famous bounty hunter who is known as the Shadowgun. While participating in a mission looking for a scientist, John finds himself in the middle of a firefight with enemy troops. John needs to rescue the doctor to finally get his payment.

Shadowgun's story is weak, but the gameplay is its legacy for the future. Proving that mobile games can go beyond puzzles and casual games.

    NEW LEGACY (FREE)

In the distant future, Earth is no longer capable of supporting life. Because of this, huge satellites called “Near Orbitals” were designed and built for people to live.

In order to protect itself, humanity formed a group called the Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance. In command of Space Marine Kal Wardin, the player will try to prevent an alien species from destroying the galaxy.

Yeah, we don't have NOVA 3 on Android anymore, one of the best mobile games of all time. But if it's any consolation, Kal Wardin's original adventure is complete on Android and iOS.

On Android, there is still the possibility to buy the game directly from the Gameloft website and unlock the entire monetization system.

I do not have money? No problem, the google play version is perfectly zeroable, even offline.

    Grand Shooter (FREE)

Grand Shooter is a shooting game in the On Rails Shooter genre. It's a game along the same lines as classics like Time Crisis (ps1) and Virtua Cop (sega saturn). The camera wanders around the scenery and it's up to you to tap the screen to shoot and kill the bad guys. The game takes place in the Middle East, and despite the casual proposal, it has a good story.

The game has an interesting plot, where a soldier who fought in the Middle East needs to rescue her girlfriend. The battle takes place in several regions and small cut scenes set the tone of the narrative.

    Hitman Sniper (PAID?)

Hitman Sniper brings Assassin 47 on ranged shooting missions. With an affordable price, but little variety, Hitman: Sniper is an interesting time-waster with great graphics

The mission, of course, is to liquidate people. Shoot targets and eliminate enemies without being seen. The game is paid, but it goes on sale for free every week.

    Frontline Command D-day (Free)

Free game set in World War II (Photo: Disclosure)

Frontline Commando: D-Day is a shooting game set in World War II.

The game begins with the historic landing in Normandy and you will have to try to survive amidst the chaos of war. It's quite old, but the gameplay is simple and fits well in the “hobby” proposal.

    Call of Duty:Black Ops Zombies (R$ 24,99)

Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is a zombie game that's a little old, but it's still a lot of fun. There are four characters to choose from. They need to survive hordes of zombies on varied maps. Activision released several shooter games on iOS and this was one of the few to come to Android.

Despite the beat-up gameplay and the hefty price tag, Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is one of the best zombie games on Android. The reason for this is the high difficulty and fluidity of the game, which gives up high-end graphics in favor of fun.

    Experiment Z (Thanks)

Experiment Z is a shooter that can be played in first or third person. Face zombies in an exploration game with great freedom of movement. The highlight is the “discovery” fact, as the game does not make anything clear and the player needs to discover regions and explore.

    Neon Shadow (Free)

Neon Shadow is a shooting game that could not be missing from this list. It was one of the first paid shooters by Crescent Moon Games to go free and offline. With strong influences from the HALO series, the game puts you in ships and special stations surrounded by enemies.

The campaign mode is excellent, but there are also highlights for Multiplayer. If you have a tablet, you can play a local match with a friend, thanks to a curious feature, split screen.

    Midnight Star (Free)

Another iOS exclusive is the first version of Midnight Star. With different gameplay, but with impressive graphics, Midnight Star draws attention for its distinctive style. It's worth mentioning as one of the most different shooters to come to the iPhone and iPad.

The game is onrails and the player does not have total freedom. Despite this, we are still facing one of the best games of the genre. Simple, addictive and totally offline gameplay.

    Epoch 2 (R$ 2,69)

To end our list of shooting games, a classic of frantic shooting on iOS, which later came to Android. Epoch 2 is a game about a dystopian future. However, there is a possibility of making humans repopulate the earth and the artificial intelligence within Epoch will fight for it.

    WALL OF SHAME

Here are the previous games on the list that were either removed or went online. Many of these games are still perfectly playable even on the latest versions of Android like 8.1, but developers make excuses not to update their games.

Halo Spartan Strike (removido da app store)

Speaking of which, this iOS and Windows Phone exclusive is one of the best aerial shooters. Halo Spartan Strike is the sequel to Halo Spartan Assault. An intense shooter with a lot happening on the screen.

There are 30 challenging stages that take place in several different locations. The graphics are very beautiful and at the same time quite light. Halo Spartan Strike runs fine even on iPhone 4S and iPad 2.

    NOVA 3 (REMOVED)

NOVA 3 is Gameloft's masterpiece. Along with MC 4 are the two greatest classic shooting games, for mobile, in terms of history and nostalgia. Many players still remember characters like Kal Wardin and Yelena.

NOVA 3 is the typical game where finding fault is a tease on your part. And what was already good, became even more sensational. In addition to the paid version, there is also the Freedom Edition version, which does not require internet. Ideal for those who can't afford this mobile classic.

    Deus Ex The Fall (REDACTED)

Deus Ex The Fall is another game that was poorly received just for being a paid game. As with Call of Duty Strike Team, the team that developed Deus Ex The Fall was disbanded after the game was completed, making a sequel to the game virtually impossible.

In Deus Ex The Fall, the player takes on the role of Ben Saxon, a soldier who has cybernetic prosthetics and is in the fight against the Illuminati. The game has good graphics, and the story takes place within the universe of Deus EX. It's a great offline game to get on sale, but be careful when downloading it on Android 5 or 6 phones, the game may be unstable.

Call of Duty Strike Team (already removed from stores)

A game missing from our list, and the first paid game on our shooter list. Call of Duty Strike Team had disappeared from Google Play and returned a few months ago. In this game for Android and iOS, players will face a fantastic campaign that mixes first-person shooter with Tom Clancy's wing strategy.

Call of Duty Strike Team is one of those misunderstood hits in the mobile market. The game is very good, but because it sold poorly, it resulted in the dissolution of the studio that created it. A pity, but it seems that the success of this classic came late, as Activision went after solving compatibility issues, both on iOS and Android.

    Six Guns (back online)

In this bang-bang with zombies, vampires and other monsters, the player has guaranteed fun in missions in the wild west. The amount of stages is immense and it will take years to complete this game (without a hack). One of the most amazing action shooters Gameloft has produced.

In addition to a lot of third-person shooting, the game still has varied missions with horse racing and even online multiplayer. Six Guns was originally released in 2012, so don't be surprised by the modest graphics. The positive side of this is that the game runs well even on basic cell phones.

    The Conduit HD (REMOVED)

This Nintendo Wii classic arrived on Android in HD version back in 2013. It's free to download, but it's a demo, you have to buy the game after a certain point. It's the ideal business model, as it allows you to test the game to see if it's running perfectly on your Android device (one of the few exclusive to the platform).

In The Conduit HD, a secret agent is recruited to face an alien invasion. The reason? The government wants to hide what happened, but after a while, the player finds himself involved in a conspiracy where he no longer knows who to believe. Decide how this adventure ends with sensational graphics and a good campaign. A beautiful example of how mobile games should be.
